What this website collects

Very little. The website itself sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and stores nothing in your browser. Our fonts and images are served from our own site, so browsing it does not send your details to Google or anyone else.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and basic details of your browser so it can deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, and keeps them in short-lived technical logs.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies. It tells us things like which pages are visited, which site you came from, the kind of device you use, and how often the booking, phone and directions links are used. It does not identify you, and we only ever see the totals.

Booking a table

The booking form on our booking page is provided by our reservations partner, Dojo, and loads from Dojo’s servers. The details you enter there, such as your name, phone number, email address, the date, time and size of your party, and any notes, go to Dojo and to us so that we can hold your table and contact you about your booking.

Dojo’s form uses its own analytics (Amplitude) and error reporting (Sentry), and may store information in your browser. That is covered by Dojo’s privacy notice, available on dojo.tech.

If you tell us about allergies or dietary needs, we use that only to prepare your meal safely.

When you call or visit

If you phone us, we use your name and number only to deal with your enquiry or booking.

Links to other sites

Our directions, social and press links open Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and The Guardian. Once you follow one, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details for as long as we need them to manage your booking and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and no longer.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Contact us by phone or post below and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
